We adopted Betsy AKA "Squishy" from A Dog's Dream Rescue where our beloved Reggie came from, who we sadly lost in December.
Betsy was dumped by her family at 9 years old to a high kill shelter in Kentucky. It did not take long for her to fall in love with us and our comfy couch.
We so adore her, she literally carries on conversations, and SINGS along with Billy all the time! We reassure her constantly that we will NEVER leave her!
A few weeks ago we found out she has cancer, 2 unrelated tumors one on the back of her leg and one in her anal sack, both operable providing it had not spread. After extensive tests and procedures we got good news which we are grateful for...
Betsy's surgery and treatment will cost THOUSANDS of dollars (our campaign goal is only a fraction of it) .
