Too often, in my generation, we rather ignore or simply allow unbecoming, wrong and crude behavior because opposing the crowd can be uncomfortable in our conditioned society of instant gratification (1 John 2:15-17). This will not change until we, as young people, decide to get up and ACTUALLY strive for a life of righteousness, peace and joy (Matthew 5:3-12). To accomplish this goal, I have found the answer: Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, not everyone has 'educated' themselves on who He is and what He has done/is doing/will do. I'm ready to put my hands to the plow to change that as well (Mark 16:15).
In this next phase of my life, I'm making the change to better prepare myself to help lead people to Christ. So, in September, I will be attending Domata School of Ministry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moving away from my hometown, family, friends, job and everything I know is a big step of faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). However, I believe that with God NOTHING is impossible (Luke 1:37).
For the past ten years, I have faithfully served in almost all aspects of ministry at Island Church, here in Galveston. I've sown time, money, effort, my talents, love and support to the children's ministry, youth ministry, praise & worship, my church family and local community visitors at Island Church (1 Peter 4:10).
I have signed a lease on an apartment in Tulsa. So, in addition to rent, I am responsible for a monthly tuition payment, moving expenses & needs, bill payments and have started the job searching process. I know that God supplies all of my needs (Philippians 4:19). Therefore, I am seeking His kingdom so I know that everything else is just additions to the wonderful things that God has done/is doing/will do in my life (Matthew 6:33).

This site is only to OFFER an OPPORTUNITY for my friends, family, supporters and generous hearts to help me reach my financial goals so that my focus can remain on the task of growing closer to God through study, prayer and learning (Deuteronomy 15:10).
