July 12th - July 20th
Haiti is currently the poorest country in the Americas with a history of political violence and devastating earthquakes. January 12, 2010 they were struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that consumed the lives of 220,000 people along with destroying countless homes and businesses leaving thousands homeless.
In spite of the significant aid that has been provided in Haiti, homelessness and hunger persist. This is particularly true in rural Haiti. We have been inspired to get involved in the efforts in these rural areas, but we need your help.
Brian and I are asking you to prayerfully consider helping us in two ways. First, and foremost, we would ask for your prayers for us and the missionary team we will be with. Second, we need your kind assistance in raising the money to join our church in Cap Haitien, Haiti. We will be helping village rehabilitation, church planting, church worship and orphanage bible study.
