Cancer Treatment Assistance

My mother, Sheila Thomas has a spot on her face that has been biopsied and diagnoses as basal cell carcinoma. In order for it to be removed with surgery, the surgeon would have to take off more than half of her nose. She has consequently been prescribed a 30 day round of intense radiation therapy. Five days a week for thirty days. My mother and father are both retired and most months they struggle to get by. This treatment for my mother is not only very expensive, but it entails over an hour long round trip drive every day to receive the radiation therapy. As it is, it's simply unaffordable.
