Save My House, Truck & Office

For those of you that know me, you’ll understand how difficult this is for me. For those of you that do not know me, I trust you’ll at least understand the challenge I am facing to admit I need help ~ let alone asking for it. I’m in serious financial trouble and find myself having to ask for assistance from friends ~ some that I know well, and others I’ve never met.

Several months ago, I unexpectedly became a single person. At the time this happened, my business ~ I’m a self-employed Massage Therapist ~ was doing well enough to sustain the household expenses I was about to take on single-handedly, but only if I could find a reliable roommate. I was fortunate to find just such a roommate, but even with her paying half the household expenses, my income wasn’t even coming close to covering all the debt I was now responsible for paying. With last Winter’s extremely harsh weather that frequently prevented clients from getting to work and their appointments, and the utilities here suddenly skyrocketing, I was unable to keep up with all the debt I took as a result of my new single status. This also resulted in some clients having to ask for a reduction in the amount they paid for their services when they could get to their appointment, which I gladly and gratefully accepted. In the 40+ years I’ve spent helping others in many ways, I’ve never once turned anyone in need away based solely upon their ability to pay full price. Plus, from my dire perspective at this time, even $5/hr. was better than $0/hr.

Because I took on so many high interest loans, I now find myself unable to lower my debt to income ratio enough to get assistance through normal channels ~ banks, mortgage companies, etc. Before I would even allow myself to consider that I might need some help, I maxed out both of my low limit “emergency” credit cards, as well as starting to use Pay Day loans ~ and trust me, I know full well the pitfalls of these types of loans, but they got me through each crisis when I had no place else to turn. This has caused me to get way behind ~ and continue getting further behind each passing week ~ carrying the burden of all this debt. I did realize relatively quickly during all this I needed a second job, but soon discovered there aren’t that many job openings even for a well-trained, experienced Massage Therapist in this economy!

Life recently took a turn for the better ~ I finally received a good job offer, and accepted it! I didn’t consider that I would need to acquire some costly additions just to get started ~ uniforms, local licensure, professional insurance, etc., and don’t have a clue how I’m going to come up with these unexpected costs to boot!

Meanwhile, I have received notice of repossession on both my truck ~ my only means of transportation ~ and my office building where I’m finally getting back on track with my existing clientele ~ and a few new clients ~ and my aromatherapy business. I have spent literally hundreds of hard-earned dollars upgrading this beautiful storage building into a very comfortable place for me to do business and my clients to receive bodywork. To lose it now would be devastating, as I would not be able to afford another space where I could continue to work with these people that look to me for guidance and assistance for their health and well-being. Plus, I’m still barely staying ahead of the living expenses ~ auto insurance, utilities, etc. With the earning potential of this new job, my living expenses can easily be covered, but I still have to catch everything up before it’s all gone, or this new job will probably go the way of the dodo, too.

I need to manifest a substantial ~ from my current perspective ~ sum of money in a VERY short amount of time! Even though every dime I earn goes immediately to paying some bill or another, I just cannot make the money come in quickly enough to stop the actions from taking place! I was fortunate to find a friend I could unload all this on the other day, and he suggested I try Go Fund Me. So, here I am putting out this plea for help!

I am humbly asking that if you can share even a little as a dollar or two, I would be so GRATEFUL! Your help could well mean the difference between me and my roommate with her 2 small children staying in our home, or becoming homeless! I actually have a plan if I’m able to manifest the funds I need to get back on track, and will gladly share it with anyone that asks.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time and consideration!
