In Memory of Ismael Rodriquez

Every so often life blesses us with a soul who exudes such joy that it doesn’t understand disadvantage. A soul who delivers light and happiness easily and naturally, for the soul is joy itself. Ismael Rodriguez, was born with Down Syndrome but never allowed that to define him. He will forever be remembered as a joyful soul. Ismael’s smile was so wide and full that his eyes squinted into tiny glimmers. He was a place for a hug and a laugh. His playful nature was the backbone of a powerful stubborn streak that could bring those who love him to the peak of frustration and right back down to a place of love and calm. You see, Ismael could take your moment of discomfort and make you realizethat there is no struggle without victory. Ten year old Ismael was taken to the hospital on June 26th for an illness and unexpectedly passed that evening. We who loved Ismael are certainly feeling the struggle of a life taken far too soon, but are blessed with the victory of his soul that continues to bring joy to our hearts. Ismael's family is in need of funding for a service to celebrate his life. We hopethat prayers and donations will help to ease any additional worries for his family during this delicate time of grieving.
