Let's help Scott!

Scott is an autisic  17 year old from Milton, Fl.  He has a functioning level of autism and is able to understand what is happening to him.  He attends Milton High School were he is a Junior.  On February 18, 2015 Scott's family took him to his primary doctor for a cough that he has had for 2 months. The cough was getting worse instead of better.  His primary doctor then sent him to the ER after seeing a mass on the xray.  At the ER it was confirmed that Scott had a large mass in his chest.  He was transfered to Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, Fl.  He under went a biospy on February 19, 2015.  He was diagonsed with a malignant germ cell tumor in chest pressing on his lung and heart.  Due to the place and size of the tumor and the tumor  affecting his airway,  they must treat the tumor aggressively. He  immediately began chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  He is expected to have to stay in Gainesville, Fl for the next 2 months.  His mother is staying with him but his dad and sister have to return to Milton, Fl for work and school.  Any money raised will help with gas, food and lodging during this difficult time.
