More than four weeks after the tragic shooting deaths of two brothers, family is unable to bury children.
Four weeks ago, the neighborhood of Little Haiti was rocked by the shooting deaths of two teenage brothers. Following a conflict over clothing, 14-year-old Steven shot 16-year-old Stanley and then himself in a tragic end to a brotherly dispute. The teens’ family and friends are distraught by the preventable deaths. The loss of a child is unimaginable, but the loss of two is even more agonizing. Another distressing part of this situation are the expenses required to bury the children.
For nearly a month, Stanley and Stephen’s family have been unable to assemble the $8000 needed to give their young sons a proper burial. Please donate to the brothers’ funeral fund. Any amount is appreciated and blessed. Please help bring closure to a family in the throes of grief.
