The first school to open was ceshe 1. This is the most advanced school out of the three schools. It has 5 proper classrooms, a computer room, and a library. It also has also football pitch for the kids to play on also the beak times. The other 2 schools are very basic compared to this one but I hope that enough money can be raised by doing this cycle to give a massive help in getting the other 2 schools upto a simular standard.

After recently volunteering teaching English with C.E.S.H.E.O I knew straight away I wanted to help this wonderful organisation. I have seen first hand how small money can make a massive difference here in Cambodia and for these children.The cycle through Vietnam will take roughly 1 month to complete. It will be in 35-40 degree heat and very humid conditions. The cycle begins in Ho Chi Min on the 17th of July and will finish on Hanoi. To say It's going to be a challenge is an understatement. It will be the most physically demanding things Iv ever atempted. But if I reach my goal In raising money and helping the schools and the Cambodian children it will all be worth It. I'm hoping people realise the challenge ahead and get behind me and support me and support this fantastic organisation.
The C.E.S.H.E.O organisation which stands for cambodia English School of Higher Education Organisation. It is a government registered NON profit organisation. registered non profit number 868. It was set up four years ago to give the local children of cambodia education who are not fortunate enough to afford going to school. Since It opened 4 years ago It has gone from strength to strength. Today It operates 3 schools just outside Siem reap in various locations. C.E.S.H.E.O supports over 750 children from surrounding villages In Siem Reap by giving them free English and IT lessons. For more information visit www.cesheo.org
My weeks spent volunteering in the school really changed my outlook on life. The children are so happy and so willing to learn and get educated. Some of them cycle for 1 hour to come to class. It's so refreshing seeing these kids as they don't have anything but they just love life and all they want Is a better future for themselves. And that's what I want to try my best to help them with.
