Monkey and Me Need Your Help

******UPDATE******* August 8th.

Monkeys liver was hit hardest during all of this. She needs more veterinary care but I can't take care of it until I reach my goal. Friends, I'm almost there and I need you to get there. I've never needed my friends more than I do right now. I'm so close. Ive gotten Monkey so far and she's made leaps and bounds. We just need this last little bit to make sure she doesn't go backwards. Please donate or help with whatever you can. I need you.

******UPDATE********* July 21st.

Monkey is doing very well. Bringing her home was the best idea ever. Just finished her one of her meds but still on the liver medication. However Monkeys dog sister Maggie ended up at the vet. Now I'm giving both dogs meds and caring for both. Please donate if you can. I was already in debt because of MY medical expenses and cannot handle this as well.

*******UPDATE******* July 9, 2014

Due to my experience in the veterinary field they're slowing me to bring her home to nurse her myself. She was getting really depressed in the hospital and it's not helping her rehabilitation.
I'll be giving her fluids and everything else. Thankfully I'm in my off season and can take care of her. Please continue to donate. It will be months of recovering.

****UPDATE**** July 3, 2014

Her muscles were destroyed. Her enzymes are the highest they've ever seen. She's at 300,000 when it should be in the hundreds. Another was in the hundreds that should be 60. She will be in the hospital for another 3-7 days, if we're lucky and will have months of recovery. I cannot lose her because I don't have enough to continue treatmen. Anything you have to offer is greatly appreciated.

In 2013, I left an abusive relationship. It was rough for me in many ways. During one of the roughest moments, Monkey came into my life. I never realized how emotionally healing raising an animal could be until this treeing walker coonhood bound her way into my heart.

2014, I thought was going to be my fresh start but In February of this year I under went two different surgeries within two weeks of each other. This situation killed my savings and left me worried about my financial situation and my health. In April I was hospitalized at St. Joes and was under their care for 5 days.  I'm now under physical therapy treatment working to return to normal.

During this time I was enrolled at Arizona State University. I thought at one point was going to have to do a medical withdrawal but my professors allowed me to chatch up. I was able to complete 9 credit hours with a GPA of 3.89.

My family has been a tremendous help. I'm a single mother of an amazing 8 year old son. They helped care for him and helped me so I could allow my body to heal. However, it has left me in debt.

To make matters worse, Monkey, the dog that healed my heart got into accident. On Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 9pm, my son, our neighbor and I were going on our usual trip to Tempe Beach Park. Unlike every other time we had been, the train was crossing the bridge.

Monkey has a fear of loud noises and as we went under the train, she started to pull and panic. She then got out of my hands and bolted towards the way we had come. Along the way home there were people confirming the direction she had gone and realized she was headed home. THANK GOD.

Once we got home it looked like a crime scene with blood every where. I have some training in the veterinary field and I knew how to care for her wounds. She had ripped up and destroyed all of her pads, plus pulled out some of her nails.

Every thing seemed to be going fine until a few says ago when she could not get up or stand with out help, then when she would urinate it would be the color of blood. I contacted a Vet Tech and we both agreed she needed to go in.

So far I've spent almost  $2,000 AFTER a 25% discount, and it looks as though the costs are still increasing. She is 9 months old and just starting life. I can't bear to loose her. She's being treated at University Animal Hospital, 2500 S. Hardy Dr. Tempe AZ, 85282 phone: [phone redacted] and as of this posting is still there. Feel free to call and verify.

If 100 of my friends or family on Facebook donated $40, I will no longer be drowning. I NEED you're help and I hate to be asking but I'm hoping my good karma will make its way back to me

FREINDS and FAMILY, I'm BEGGING for your help to get me through this.
