Dear Family and Friends of the Azle Arts Popcorn Players,
"Our theater is broken. We need to fix it."
The Azle Arts Association has pursued its mission of supporting and promoting family and community through the use of visual and performing arts for almost 20 years! We strive to provide an affordable and accessible arts experience to the community of Azle, TX and its surrounding areas.
Amid all of our hard work bringing delightful theatrical arts to our audiences, we have noticed that our beloved theater is showing some signs of wear. Our A/C unit sometimes decides to experiment on the actors to determine how the Texas heat effects the costumes and makeup during a show. We think we have a ghost in our stage lights. And while we all enjoy a peek outside of one of our many roof holes, it starts to get a bit damp during a good ole Texas thunderstorm.
We need YOUR help to start making these repairs! As a non-profit organization, we have a tight budget for anything that doesn't bring our audience immediate joy in the form of entertainment. That means we are asking for the generosity of our family, friends, and theater-loving strangers to help us begin to fund these repair efforts.
We are hoping to start work on these efforts before our next big show, "Moon Over Buffalo," opening September 15. Please give what you can and definitely come see our next show!
And for those family and friends who may be geographically obstructed from attending a show, please show your support for us by helping our repair efforts.
