Son's Educational Trip

When my son, "Dr Z", was 4yr old he informed us he wanted to be a Doctor. In fact at that age he could tell you the function of every major internal organ, & even called 911 one day to let them know he was going to be a Doctor when he grows up :)
Because of his academics he was nominated by his high school teacher for an invitation to visit the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington DC. Where he will hear Nobel Prize winners speak, see Ivy League academic leaders, view surgery, & even will receive continued mentorships to help him in the direction he will study in.
The money raised will pay for the tuition, lodging, transportation, meals for this trip, insurance & college credit.
As a single mother, it can be challenging meeting all of your children’s wants & desires, but this opportunity I believe is an educational need. An opportunity to come face to face with the environment of a lifelong dream, to solidify the direction in which my son will become a positive member of our society. The United Negro College Fund's slogan says "A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste". I think this opportunity is also a terrible thing to waste which is why I have resorted to using "GOFUNDME.COM"
PLEASE HELP IN WHAT EVER WAY YOU CAN. STILL TAKING DONATIONS TO COVER THE FINAL EXPENSES SUCH AS FOOD, TAXI & COLLEGE CREDIT FEE.
