Help Our Dad

If you have not heard our dad is suffering from an imbalance disorder due to what has been discribed as either Meniere’s Disease or Cervical Vertigo. He has been undergoing treatment for this since March and has been unable to work due to not being able to bend, twist or drive. He continues to see doctors for his issue and the next appointment is at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in November. He has filed for Social Security Disability but we all know how long that takes. He just found out that he has been denied his long term disability through work and when I asked what does that mean he says “ Don’t worry, I’ll figure something out”. I know my father is stubborn and won’t ask for help so Chris, Mary and I are asking for him. He does not know we are doing this because he would never let us so we are doing our best to keep it from him. Our dad has done a lot over the last 10 years taking care of us on his own after our mom left us and we need to take care of him now in his time of need. We can’t do it on our own so we are reaching out to those of you who our father has helped in one way or another. Any help will go towards his medical expenses primarily keeping our home that he has worked so hard to keep over our heads. I know that he has past due medical bills and a mortage payment coming soon and I do not believe he has the funds to make those payments. Please feel it in your heart to help our dad as we all know he has helped others throughout his lifetime.
