A ride to work!

Hello friends, this might be reaching a little far but Ive seen our community do incredible things and we might be able to add to that list.
A few days ago as I was leaving work and I was shivering in my car at the first red light I came to. When I came to a stop I saw a guy hoofin it in the same direction I was headed, and remember I'm shivering in my heated car so this guy had to be freezing, so I hollered for him to get in the car and Id take him wherever he needed to go.
Turns out he was WALKING to WORK towards the industrial park. I instantly knew he was on a mission to better himself, you could just see it in his eyes. Turns out he's not from Bowling Green and strictly came here for the job he's working, but without a home, or a vehicle... just a vision to work work and work some more until he could better his situation.
THE REASON IM POSTING THIS, this man needs a vehicle. Its not practical to walk 6 miles to work (distance to the closest hotel we've currently got him in) in the freezing cold. Ive found a car that is $1000 that I would love to buy for him, but after learning yesterday that we need to replace our heating unit I just can't afford to buy it for him or I would. And Im sure he'd be devoted to paying me back, just the kind of guy he is.
So this is the best thing I can think to do for him, If anyone sees it appropriate and is willing to help without burdening yourself or your family, your help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I haven't posted his name or a picture of him because he doesn't know Im doing this.. And I'm trying to avoid any embarrassment he might've received otherwise. Thanks again guys and hopefully we can make this happen and Ill post a pic of him with the new ride!
