Soy ALBERT JOSÉ PORRAS MARTÍNEZ, Tengo 34 años y
ESTA ES MI HISTORIA.
El 4 de Octubre de 2013 celebramos mis 27 años, estaba culminando mi carrera de Ingeniería Industrial a la par de intentar hacerme conocer como compositor y cantante, ya que la música es una de mis pasiones. Un mes después fui diagnosticado con LINFOMA DE HODGKIN. VARIEDAD ESCLERONODULAR. ESTADIO III B. (Cáncer en Ganglios Linfáticos). Así fue como se interrumpieron indefinidamente todos mis planes y sueños. A partir de entonces he sido sometido a tres duros tratamientos de Quimioterapia… Sin éxito!
En estos momentos mi familia y yo estamos enfocados en conseguir los recursos para adquirir los medicamentos que necesito para iniciar mi cuarto tratamiento y posterior trasplante de médula como única alternativa para salvar mi vida. El costo del tratamiento excede los $65.000. La tarea es difícil porque no cuento con recursos económicos propios. Actualmente estoy emprendiendo con un pequeño negocio desde mi casa pero me tomaría años reunir lo que necesito y es lo que precisamente no tengo… tiempo!
El Linfoma ha logrado infiltrar mis huesos con las consiguientes molestias que se derivan de mi enfermedad. Dependo de calmantes y esteroides para poder desempeñarme aunque sea a medias. Los dolores, sobre todo en articulaciones son muchas veces insoportables. Debí utilizar silla de ruedas durante tres meses porque no era capaz de ponerme de pie. Por momentos pensé que no iba a lograr volver a caminar pero Dios escuchó mis oraciones y en Navidad logré abrazar de pie a mi familia y a mi novia con la que anhelo formar mi propia familia y tener mis hijos.
Hoy, apelo al noble corazón de todos aquellos que deseen aportar su granito de arena porque me siento muy joven, llenito de sueños y proyectos que no se me ha permitido lograr. Necesito vivir por mis padres, por mí, y mi futuro. Estoy en las manos de Dios y en la de ustedes. Voy a aportar todos los recaudos que certifiquen que todo cuanto he dicho es verdadero.

On October 4, 2013 we celebrated my 27 years, I was finishing my Industrial Engineering career as well as making myself known as a composer and singer, since music is one of my passions. A month later I was diagnosed with HODGKIN LYMPHOMA. SCLERONODULAR VARIETY. STAGE III B. (Lymph Node Cancer). This is how all my plans and dreams were indefinitely interrupted. Since then, he has undergone three chemotherapy treatments… without success!
Right now my family and I are focused on getting the resources to acquire the medications I need to start my fourth treatment and subsequent bone marrow transplant as the only alternative to save my life. The cost of treatment exceeds $ 65,000. The task is difficult because I do not have my own financial resources. I am currently starting a small business from my home but it would take me years to gather what I need and that is precisely what I do not have ... time!
The Lymphoma has managed to infiltrate my bones with the consequent discomfort derived from my disease. I depend on painkillers and steroids to be able to perform even half. The pain, especially in the joints, is often unbearable. I had to use a wheelchair for three months because I was not able to stand up. At times I thought that I
would not be able to walk again but God heard my prayers and at Christmas I managed to hug my family and my girlfriend standing up with whom I long to start my own family and have my children.
Today, I appeal to the noble hearts of all those who wish to contribute their grain of sand because I feel very young, full of dreams and projects that I have not been allowed to achieve. I need to live for my parents, for myself, and my future. I am in God's hands and in yours. I will provide all the precautions that certify that everything I have said is true.
