<div>Sebas nació en <strong>Perú</strong>, y desde sus primeros días de vida tuvo que enfrentar una dura batalla. Sobrevivió a <strong>dos sepsis neonatales</strong>, lo que afectó gravemente sus extremidades inferiores. Como consecuencia, desarrolló artritis séptica, una condición que ha comprometido el crecimiento y desarrollo de sus piernas.

<div>Hoy, Sebas necesita <strong>dos cirugías importantes</strong> y varios meses de<strong> rehabilitación intensiva</strong> para poder moverse sin dolor y disfrutar de una infancia plena como cualquier niño.

<div>Sebas tiene programadas <strong>dos cirugías esenciales para el año 2026:</strong>

<div><strong>•	Primera cirugía (enero de 2026):</strong> Una <strong>osteotomía valguizante de fémur proximal derecho (cadera derecha)</strong>, en la cual se le colocará una placa y tornillos que deberán retirarse en una posterior intervención quirúrgica.

<div><strong>•	Segunda cirugía (finales de 2026)</strong>: Alargamiento de ambos fémures para favorecer su desarrollo.

<div>Después de estas operaciones, Sebas requerirá <strong>varios meses de terapia físic</strong>a para recuperar fuerza, coordinación y mejorar su movilidad.

<div>A veces se entristece porque no puede hacer las mismas cosas que otros niños y pasa mucho tiempo en hospitales. Además, tiene <strong>alergias alimentarias</strong> (a la leche y al huevo), lo que hace más difícil su día a día.

<div>Hi, my name is Omar, and I’m the uncle of Sebastián Elías García Morante — or as we lovingly call him, Sebas, our brave 4-year-old little hero who dreams of becoming Spider-Man. ️❤️

<div>Sebas was born in Peru, and from his very first days, he had to face a tough battle. He survived two neonatal sepsis infections, which severely affected his lower limbs. As a result, he developed septic arthritis, a condition that has impaired the growth and development of his legs.

<div>Today, Sebas needs two major surgeries and months of intensive rehabilitation to move without pain and enjoy the full, active childhood he deserves.

<div>Why We Need Your Help

<div>Sebas is scheduled for two life-changing surgeries in 2026:

<div>•	First surgery (January 2026): A valgus osteotomy of the proximal right femur (right hip), in which a plate and screws will be placed. These will need to be removed in a later surgical procedure.

<div>•	Second surgery (late 2026): To lengthen both femurs and support proper bone growth.

<div>After the surgeries, Sebas will need several months of physical therapy to regain strength, coordination, and improve his ability to walk and play like other children.
