 Sandra es una mujer bondadosa, generosa y profundamente querida por quienes la conocen. Es madre, esposa, hermana, excelente hija y una persona que siempre ha estado dispuesta a ayudar a los demás sin esperar nada a cambio. Hace dos años fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama y enfrentó cirugías, quimioterapia y radioterapia con una fortaleza admirable. A principios de este año recibió el alta médica y, como familia, pensamos que por fin había dejado atrás una de las etapas más difíciles de su vida.

 Sin embargo, el pasado 22 de junio sufrió un ACV y los estudios posteriores revelaron que el cáncer había hecho metástasis, avanzando y comprometiendo el sistema nervioso central, provocando lesiones cerebrales que hoy requieren tratamiento especializado, estudios constantes y atención médica URGENTE. El tiempo es clave, ya que la enfermedad continúa avanzando y sus médicos han indicado que debe iniciar esta nueva etapa de tratamiento lo antes posible.

 Los costos de exámenes, medicamentos, tratamientos y traslados son verdaderamente muy elevados. Aunque seguimos gestionando la cobertura médica y las autorizaciones correspondientes, no podemos permitir que Sandra siga perdiendo tiempo valioso esperando respuestas. Por eso decidimos crear esta campaña para reunir los fondos que le permitan acceder cuanto antes a la atención que necesita. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, o incluso compartir esta campaña, puede marcar una gran diferencia. Sandra ha pasado gran parte de su vida ayudando a quienes la rodean; hoy esperamos poder unirnos para ayudarla a ella.
