<div>Todo comenzó una noche cuando mi hermano iba saliendo de dejar a mi mamá en casa de su tía . Por una revisión de placa y al ver que su licencia era temporal, llamaron a ICE y se lo llevaron detenido. Angustiada por la situación, mi mamá acudió al lugar con mi tía para rescatar el coche; al mostrar su identificación temporal, los oficiales decidieron llevársela detenida a ella también.

<div>Mi mamá pasó 8 días durísimos en un centro de detención antes de poder salir, pero a mi hermano lo trasladaron inesperadamente a un centro de detención en California, lejos de nosotros, y ahora enfrenta una batalla legal cuesta arriba con su corte de fianza y su proceso de asilo en puerta.

<div>Los costos de abogados, traslados interestatales, fianzas y trámites migratorios se han acumulado de golpe y superan por completo lo que podemos cubrir solos. Lo único que queremos es tenerlos a ambos seguros, en casa y con su familia, que es donde pertenecen.
