<div><strong>Ana Rosa Mendoza Martínez</strong> tiene 35 años, vive en Puebla y es madre soltera de una hija de 17 años. Desde joven ha trabajado como empleada doméstica para sacar adelante a su familia. A pesar de enfrentar el abandono del padre de su hija, siempre ha sido una mujer luchadora, trabajadora y entregada.

<div>Hace poco tiempo acudió a la fundación APEC, en la Ciudad de México, donde fue diagnosticada con glaucoma. Le indicaron que necesitaba cirugía y, gracias a la donación de una señora, pudo cubrir gran parte de los gastos. Ana aceptó operarse de un ojo, pero durante el procedimiento fue intervenida en ambos ojos, sin su consentimiento.

<div>Tras la cirugía, perdió completamente la vista. Cuando regresó a la fundación para pedir explicaciones, le negaron respuestas y no la recibieron, alegando que no había cubierto el resto del pago. Asistió al seguro social, donde solamente le proporcionaron gotas para los ojos (sin una consulta correcta)

<div>Hoy, Ana <strong>está ciega de los dos ojos</strong>, sin seguimiento médico y sin recursos para acceder a un especialista confiable que pueda evaluar su situación y determinar si existe posibilidad de recuperar visión.
