<div>Imagina tener que luchar contra un sistema que te ha atrapado en un laberinto sin salida. Este es el desafío que enfrenta nuestro amigo, un artista venezolano que ha encontrado en Barcelona su hogar y su fuente de inspiración. Pero un giro desafortunado del destino lo ha dejado en una situación desesperada.

<div>Bajo el seudónimo de "Caso Perdido“ lleva ocho años viviendo en España, seis de ellos en Barcelona. De formación autodidacta como fotógrafo, y chef de profesión, trabaja con esfuerzo y dedicación balanceando su pasión por la fotografía y el trabajo sacrificado en la cocina, para construir una nueva vida en Barcelona, donde como migrante ha crecido raíces profundas, reuniendo allí a su familia, amigos, trabajo, inspiración y hogar.

<div>Como parte de su trayectoria artística, desde 2019, se dedica a documentar la diversidad de las subculturas de Barcelona, entre ellas el graffiti. Desafortunadamente en 2020, mientras fotografiaba a un grupo de grafiteros durante una acción, se produjo un confuso incidente que, por desgracia, lo ha incriminado como único responsable. Al no nombrar a los participantes de su investigación ante el tribunal debido a la protección de las fuentes, tanto por lealtad como por compromiso, ahora tiene que pagar por las consecuencias de las acciones ajenas. Esto ha producido un efecto en cadena catastrófico para su vida: por un lado, a raíz de las consecuencias legales del incidente ha perdido su permiso de residencia válido, dado que ahora posee antecedentes penales como resultado de una sentencia judicial injusta y, por tanto, no puede renovar su permiso de residencia de larga duración. Como consecuencia, esto significa que no puede trabajar legalmente y, por tanto, no tiene ingresos ordinarios. Pero esto no es todo, como resultado de la citada sentencia judicial, es que tendrá que pagar costes judiciales extremadamente elevados y reunir una suma considerable de dinero en un plazo muy breve.

<div>Dada su situación legal como, ahora, indocumentado, resulta imposible que él pueda gestionarlo como correspondería y asumir su responsabilidad. El sistema judicial lo ha encerrado en un circulo sin salida: Sin permiso de residencia no hay trabajo, sin trabajo no hay ingresos, sin ingresos no hay pago de los gastos y sin pago se enfrenta a la cárcel y/o a la deportación de España.

<div>Imagine having to fight against a system that has trapped you in a maze with no way out. That is the challenge our friend faces, a Venezuelan artist who has found his home and source of inspiration in Barcelona. But an unfortunate twist of fate has left him in a desperate situation.

<div>Under the pseudonym "Caso Perdido" he has been living in Spain for eight years, six of them in Barcelona. Self-taught as a photographer, and chef by profession, he works with effort and dedication balancing his passion for photography and the sacrificial work in the kitchen, to build a new life in Barcelona, where as a migrant he has grown deep roots, bringing together his family, friends, work, inspiration and home.

<div>As part of his artistic career, since 2019, he has been engaged in documenting the diversity of Barcelona's subcultures, including graffiti. Unfortunately in 2020, while photographing a group of graffiti artists during an action, a confusing incident occurred which, unfortunately, has incriminated him as solely responsible. But that is not all, as a result of the aforementioned court judgment, he will have to pay extremely high court costs and collect a considerable sum of money in a very short period of time.

<div>Due to his legal status as, currently, undocumented, it is impossible for him to handle it properly and assume his responsibility.
