José Ramón Briceño es artista visual, natural de Venezuela que hace tres años perdió su equipo de trabajo y desde ese entonces ha tratado inútilmente de reunir el dinero necesario para adquirir una cámara digital profesional que le permita continuar con su trabajo, actualmente labora pero su ingreso mensual que no excede los quince dólares mensuales hace imposible reunir la cantidad mínima para aspirar tan siquiera a comprar una cámara de segunda mano. Desde, hace poco más de veinte años este fotógrafo ha tenido una dilatada carrera que incluye varios premios nacionales, exposiciones individuales, colectivas en varios museos de arte contemporáneo y galerías tanto en Latinoamérica como en Europa, parte de su obra está en la colección de arte latinoamericano de dos importantes museos, desde hace tres años no tomar fotografías debido a la pérdida de su cámara.
Para Briceño volver a tener un equipo fotográfico no solo significa estar de nuevo haciendo imágenes hermosas para compartir con el mundo, también significa una mejora significativa en su calidad de vida pues con ella puede ganarse la vida vendiendo el fruto de su trabajo, cosa que no puede hacer en estos momentos cuando apela a la solidaridad de los amantes del arte en el mundo para lograr cumplir la meta que le permita volver al universo de la imagen.

José Ramón Briceño is a visual artist, native of Venezuela who lost his equipment three years ago and since then has tried in vain to raise the money necessary to acquire a professional digital camera that allows him to continue with his work. He is currently working but his monthly income in Venezuela is approximately $15, which makes it impossible to to even aspire to buy a second-hand camera. With over twenty years of experience, this photographer 's career includes several national awards, individual exhibitions, collective exhibitions, in several contemporary art museums and galleries in Latin America and Europe. Part of his art collection is in two important museums in Latin America.
For over three years he has not taken any photographs due to the loss of his camera and equipment.
For Briceño to have a camera, it not only means that he will continue to conceive beautiful images to share with the world, it also means a significant improvement in his quality of life because he will then earn a living selling the fruit of his work, something that he cannot do at this time.
He is appealing to the solidarity of art lovers in the world to achieve the goal will allow him to return to the universe of the images. Any amount will help him reach his goal, please help! Thank you!
