<div>Es un joven deportista, alegre, estudioso, responsable, con muchos sueños por cumplir, nosotros vivimos en la ciudad de Ensenada, Baja California, México. En el mes de mayo del presente año nuestro hijo presentó una gripa acompañada de tos lo cual se le dio tratamiento hasta ahí todo normal la gripa se quitó quedando la tos únicamente la cual nos pareció normal que tardara en quitarse ya que después de una gripa es lo que más tarda en quitarse. Nuestro hijo es un joven alegre y totalmente deportista practicaba tenis, pádel, clases de montar y gym, él estuvo participando en un torneo de pádel distante 6 semana de mayo a junio la que había desaparecido empezó a presentarse de nuevo pensamos que era porque aquí en Ensenada esos días estuvo muy frío sin embargo la tos fue aumentando hasta que un día la tos era muy distinta al principio demasiado ronca, lo llevamos a revisión nos dijeron que traía un poco inflamado los bronquios pero la doctora comentó que si la tos seguía había que realizar una radiografía para checar cómo estaban sus pulmones, le dieron tratamiento y en 5 días regresamos a chequeo a lo cual dijeron que ya se escuchaba bien y que podía regresar a realizar deporte pero la tos aún estaba menos pero estaba, al paso d esos días aún con medicamento la tos seguía y decidimos realizar la radiografía, al recibir los resultados la doctora los reviso y comentó que algo no estaba bien con su corazón y pulmón izquierdo, fuimos canalizados con el cardiólogo el cual realizo electrocardiograma y ultrasonido donde se pudo detectar que había un derrame en su corazón y que tanto corazón como plumón izquierdo estaba rodeados de líquido pero además se podía observar una masa que no debería estar ahí entre el corazón y pulmones, el cardiólogo solicitó una tomografía contrastada la cual arrogo que había un linfoma (tumor) pero había que saber de qué tipo, nuestro hijo fue canalizado con la doctora internista la cual miró todo sus estudios y decidió realizar una biopsia del tumor, pero la biopsia no fue suficiente para saber que era exactamente así que se mandó realizar una inmunohistoquímica para conocer el nombre exacto de la enfermedad. Nuestro hijo a sido diagnosticado con un Linfoma linfoblastico de precursores de células T, un linfoma de los más agresivos, pero ese estudio sugiere realizar una biopsia directamente de la médula ósea para descartar o corroborar si es una Leusemia Linfoblatica. Nuestro hijo tiene que recibir tratamiento de quimioterapia y radioterapia todo particularmente ya que no cuanta con ninguna institución médica, la quimioterapia y radioterapia tienen un costo de $70,000.00 mil pesos y se requieren 6 sesiones

<div>Please Help Save Gabriel - A 17-Year-Old Fighting for His Life
</div>
<div>Hello, we are Gabriel Gutiérrez Cadena and Jacqueline Molina García, and we are writing with broken hearts as parents.

<div>He is our only son, Gabriel Gutiérrez Molina. He is just 17 years old. He just graduated from high school, full of life, and was getting ready to start university this August to study International Trade and Customs. He is an athletic, joyful, hardworking, and responsible young man with his whole future ahead of him.

<div>We live in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
</div>
<div>In May of this year, our son caught what we thought was a simple cold with a cough. The cold went away, but the cough lingered. Since he is an athlete — he plays tennis, padel, horseback riding, and goes to the gym — we thought it was normal. He even played in a padel tournament for 6 weeks from May to June.
</div>
<div>But the cough came back stronger. Much deeper, much hoarser than before. We took him to the doctor. They said his bronchi were inflamed and gave him treatment. Five days later they said his lungs sounded better and he could go back to sports, but the cough was still there.
</div>
<div>We decided to get an X-ray on our own. That X-ray changed our lives.
</div>
<div>The doctor saw something wrong with his heart and his left lung. We were sent urgently to a cardiologist. The EKG and ultrasound revealed fluid around his heart and his left lung — and a large mass that should not be there, lodged between his heart and lungs.
</div>
<div>A contrast CT scan confirmed our worst fear: a lymphoma.
</div>
<div>After a biopsy and a specialized immunohistochemistry study, our 17-year-old son was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma — one of the most aggressive forms of lymphoma. Doctors now need to perform a bone marrow biopsy to rule out Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
</div>
<div>Gabriel now needs immediate chemotherapy and radiotherapy to survive.
</div>
<div>He has no medical insurance. Everything must be paid for privately. Each session of chemotherapy and radiotherapy costs $70,000 Mexican pesos, and he needs 6 sessions to start. This does not include additional tests, travel, hospital stays, and follow-up appointments.
</div>
<div>My wife and I are doing everything we can, but we cannot afford this on our own. That is why we are humbly asking for your help.
</div>
