<div>El 26 de noviembre de 2025, una explosión ocurrió en nuestro hogar en el PH Torres de Montserrat en la Ciudad de Panamá. Ese día, mi esposo Fernando y nuestro perrito Joy estaban dentro del apartamento. Desde aquel momento, nuestras vidas cambiaron por completo.

<div>Como consecuencia de la explosión, Fernando sufrió quemaduras de segundo grado en el 40% de su cuerpo (extremidades, rostro y cuello) y desde entonces se encuentra hospitalizado. Nuestro perrito Joy también sufrió quemaduras.

<div>Aún cuando nos sentimos afortunados de tener a Fernando y Joy en proceso de recuperación, otra consecuencia de este evento es la pérdida, prácticamente total, de nuestro hogar y pertenencias.

<div>Estamos confrontando esta nueva realidad un día a la vez, con mucha fe, fortaleza y dignidad. Somos un pequeño hogar Venezolano que contribuye en la sociedad Panameña. Nos sentimos afortunados de tener amigos cercanos que nos apoyan en ausencia de nuestros padres, madres y hermanos y resto de familiares y amigos que viven en otros lados del país y del mundo.

<div>On November 26, 2025, an explosion devastated our home at PH Torres de Montserrat in Panama City. That day, my husband Fernando and our beloved dog Joy were inside the apartment. In an instant, our lives changed forever.

<div>Fernando suffered second-degree burns on 40% of his body—his limbs, face, and neck—and has been hospitalized ever since. Joy, our little companion, also suffered burns.

<div>While we are deeply grateful that both are on the path to recovery, the explosion left us with another painful reality: the near-total loss of our home and belongings.

<div>We are taking this journey one day at a time, with faith, strength, and dignity. As a small Venezuelan family contributing to Panamanian society, we feel blessed to have close friends supporting us, especially since our parents, siblings, and extended family live far away, across the country and the world.
