<div><strong>(English version below)</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>EL PROBLEMA:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>¿QUIÉN SOY?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>En 2013 vi morir mi primer jaguar envenenado.
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Por eso hoy te pido tu ayuda.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>CONOCE A "EL GÜERO":</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Pero ese collar ya no funciona.
</div>
</div>
<div>Tiene los días contados.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>⏰ <strong>ESTAMOS CONTRA RELOJ:</strong>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✅ Nacen los becerros
</div>
<div>✅ Los jaguares cazan con más frecuencia
</div>
<div>✅ Los conflictos con ganaderos se triplican
</div>
<div>✅ Los envenenamientos aumentan dramáticamente
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Necesitamos estar preparados <strong>ANTES</strong> de mayo.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Cada día cuenta. Cada peso cuenta.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>¿CÓMO PUEDES AYUDAR?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$200 MXN = 1 día de protección activa
</div>
<div>$1,500 MXN = 1 semana de monitoreo constante
</div>
<div>$3,000 MXN = 2 semanas salvaguardando el territorio
</div>
<div>$5,000 MXN = 1 mes de vigilancia profesional
</div>
<div>$7,000 MXN =<strong> UN BECERRO PAGADO = UN JAGUAR SALVADO DIRECTAMENTE.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No importa cuánto puedas dar.
</div>
</div>
<div><strong>Cualquier cantidad suma</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>----------------------------ENGLISH VERSION------------------------------</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In Sierra de Vallejo, Nayarit, every lost calf is a death sentence for a jaguar.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THE PROBLEM:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Urban expansion and tourism development have fragmented the jaguars' natural habitat. As they lose their territory, they're forced to get closer and closer to cattle ranches, and for many of them, calves represent their only means of survival. When a jaguar hunts a calf, the economic loss of $7,000 MXN (approximately $390 USD) can be devastating for a family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Faced with these losses, some ranchers resort to poisoning with Furadan, an extremely toxic substance that kills the jaguar slowly and painfully, and also contaminates the entire ecosystem, affecting other species.
</div>
<div>Between 2013 and 2020, an estimated 5 to 10 jaguars were killed each year in the area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, the difference between a jaguar living or dying depends on something very concrete: being able to monetarily compensate for the loss of that calf.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>WHO AM I?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm Javier Ramírez Magaña, a dog trainer for jaguar conservation and conservationist. I've been working directly on jaguar conservation in Sierra de Vallejo, Nayarit for over 12 years.
</div>
<div>In 2013, I watched my first poisoned jaguar die. The image of that magnificent animal dying slowly marked me forever. That day I decided I had to do something.
</div>
<div>Since then, I've worked directly with local ranchers, reaching agreements to pay out of my own pocket for lost calves to prevent retaliation against jaguars.
</div>
<div>I've spent over $500,000 MXN of my own resources over these years.
</div>
<div>The result: Deaths have decreased from 10 to between 3 and 5 jaguars per year.
</div>
<div>It's significant progress, but the economic cost is high and I can no longer sustain it solely with personal resources.
</div>
<div>That's why today I'm asking for your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>MEET "EL GÜERO":</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"El Güero" is an adult male jaguar who has hunted approximately 18 calves in recent years, keeping him at constant risk of being poisoned.
</div>
<div>The ranchers in the area know him. They want him dead.
</div>
<div>A GPS tracking collar has been, until now, what has kept him alive. The ranchers know that "someone is monitoring" and that makes them think twice before poisoning him.
</div>
<div>But that collar no longer works.
</div>
<div>The ranchers don't know it yet, but El Güero is walking around without protection.
</div>
<div><strong>His days are numbered.</strong>
</div>
<div>Alongside him is "La Tuerta," a female with a visible injury in one of her eyes. Her story reminds us that this work is not only urgent but fundamental for the continuity of the species in the region.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>⏰ <strong>WE'RE RACING AGAINST TIME:</strong>
</div>
<div>In less than 3 months (May to September) the most critical season of the year begins:
</div>
<div>✅ Calves are born
</div>
<div>✅ Jaguars hunt more frequently
</div>
<div>✅ Conflicts with ranchers triple
</div>
<div>✅ Poisonings increase dramatically
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need to be prepared <strong>BEFORE </strong>May.
</div>
<div>We need to have funds available to act immediately when a rancher loses a calf, before they make the decision to poison the jaguar.
</div>
<div>Every day counts. Every peso counts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>HOW CAN YOU HELP?</strong>
</div>
<div>$200 MXN = 1 day of active protection
</div>
<div>$1,500 MXN = 1 week of constant monitoring
</div>
<div>$3,000 MXN = 2 weeks safeguarding the territory
</div>
<div>$5,000 MXN = 1 month of professional surveillance
</div>
<div>$7,000 MXN = <strong>ONE CALF PAID = ONE JAGUAR SAVED</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It doesn't matter how much you can give.
</div>
<div>What matters is that you join the mission.
</div>
<div>Any amount adds up. There's no such thing as a "small" donation. Every peso you contribute is one more step toward the survival of this species.
</div>
<div><br />
