Puerto Rico Gifted School Alliance is the first school in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to have a program for gifted students from kindergarten through fifth grade, in addition to the regular program.
A Critical Thinking curriculum is used that allows the students to work according to their needs and interests. Two programs are handled concurrently: the regular program and the gifted program.
The mission of Puerto Rico Gifted School Alliance is to provide educational services of excellence and developmental appropriateness for each student. These services contribute to the development and integral growth of typical and gifted students that will prepare them to succeed in life.
My beloved children Camila and Yaphet belong to this small school of talented children, a school that has forged together with us the values and love that they profess. During Hurricane Maria last year, the infrastructure of our school suffered many damages that have not yet been repaired. Any repairs made so far have been done by the parents, but the lack of funds has stalled the repairs as well as replacement of books and materials that were lost during this catastrophe. They have gone through so much these past few months and the school has serve as a pilar to our community.
That is why I ask for help for the education of all these children - the future of our country - to continue forging these boys and girls into the men and women of tomorrow. Help us please. Camila, Yaphet and all the children of PRGSA will thank you from the bottom of their heart.
