<div>Mi mamá ingresó al hospital para una histerectomía programada, una cirugía que ya teníamos contemplada y cubierta con el seguro. Sin embargo, por situaciones fuera de nuestro control, el hospital nos está cobrando tres veces el deducible, algo que se sale completamente de lo que teníamos presupuestado.

<div>Hasta ahí pensábamos que lo más complicado ya había pasado… pero al mandar la matriz a patología, recibimos una noticia que nos sacudió por completo: el diagnóstico fue cáncer. Eso cambió todo. Ahora se necesita una nueva cirugía para revisar si el cáncer afectó otros tejidos, además de comenzar con los tratamientos que sean necesarios según lo que encuentren.

<div>Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para sostener los gastos médicos, pero esta nueva etapa nos rebasa, y por eso acudimos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano. Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que parezca, hace una gran diferencia para que mi mamá pueda tener la atención que necesita sin pausas ni obstáculos.
