<div>Mi nombre es Zareli Medina, y hoy pido ayuda para mi mamá, Maribel Parra de Medina, una mujer con un temple enorme y una determinación inquebrantable que lleva cuatro años enfrentando un diagnóstico poco común: un cordoma sacro, un tumor maligno de crecimiento lento que afecta a menos de una persona por cada millón de habitantes al año.

<div>Desde su diagnóstico en 2021, Maribel ha recibido radioterapia especializada, que logró frenar el crecimiento del tumor y redirigirlo hacia zonas menos críticas, permitiéndole conservar su movilidad y valerse por sí misma.

<div>Durante los últimos meses, sin embargo, el cordoma ha vuelto a crecer, presionando estructuras nerviosas profundas y provocando dolor intenso, inflamación y dificultad para controlar los esfínteres.

<div>A pesar del dolor constante y las limitaciones físicas, mi mamá se mantiene firme. Es una mujer constante, persistente y con un gran deseo de vivir. Ha sido el pilar de nuestra familia y un apoyo silencioso para muchos de quienes la rodean.

<div>Los médicos han recomendado una cirugía de resección parcial descompresiva, cuyo objetivo es aliviar la presión sobre los nervios, reducir el dolor y mejorar su calidad de vida.
