El 15 de marzo de 2024 me realizaron una cirugía de columna. En los estudios previos encontraron un tumor mediastinal que debía ser operado de urgencia, por lo que el 31 de marzo de 2024 me sometí a una cirugía para retirar el tumor.
<br /><br />Aunque la operación era necesaria, durante el procedimiento una de mis cuerdas vocales fue dañada, lo que me dejó con parálisis en la cuerda vocal derecha y serios problemas para hablar. Otra consecuencia de esta cirugía fue que sufrí un neumotórax.<br /><br />Cinco meses después tuve que volver al quirófano para una nueva cirugía en mis cuerdas vocales, lo que complicó aún más mi recuperación. Este proceso tomó entre seis y ocho meses, tiempo en el que no pude trabajar y, lamentablemente, perdí mi empleo. En 2024 también perdí mi seguro de gastos médicos.

<br /><br />Desde marzo de 2024 hasta 2025 viví con dolor constante y limitaciones físicas importantes. Además, después de la primera cirugía quedaron alambres quirúrgicos en mi esternón (los que se utilizan para cerrar el hueso), los cuales permanecieron ahí durante casi dos años. Estos alambres me generaban molestias constantes, la sensación de que me “picaban” por dentro y dolor al moverme, lo que afectaba aún más mi calidad de vida.<br /><br />Finalmente, el 5 de enero de 2026 me realizaron una segunda cirugía mayor: una fijación esternal con clip, un procedimiento necesario para estabilizar mi esternón y aliviar las complicaciones que venía arrastrando.<br />En esta cirugía participó un segundo cirujano para retirar otro tumor que no se había retirado anteriormente.
<br /><br /> Esta cirugía fue posible gracias a préstamos que ahora debo pagar.
<br />Durante todo este tiempo he estado sin poder trabajar. Mi recuperación no me permite hacer esfuerzos físicos y, aunque he intentado encontrar empleo, mis limitaciones actuales lo han hecho muy difícil.<br /><br />Además, aún vienen gastos médicos importantes: próximamente debo realizarme una tomografía, continuar con rehabilitación y cubrir consultas y estudios necesarios para asegurar que mi recuperación avance correctamente.<br />He organizado bazares y he vendido muchas cosas de mi casa para cubrir gastos médicos y de vida diaria, pero aún no logro completar lo necesario para saldar la deuda y enfrentar los gastos que vienen.<br /><br />A pesar de todo, no he estado sola. Mi familia y amigos me han acompañado en cada paso y estoy profundamente agradecida por su apoyo.

<br /><br />Hoy, con mucha humildad, recurro a ustedes. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, me ayudará a cubrir la deuda médica, mis próximos estudios y mi rehabilitación, y a poder enfocarme en sanar sin la presión constante de las obligaciones económicas.<br /><br />Si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también hace una gran diferencia.
