<div>Emma vive junto a su mamá en Venezuela y, desde muy pequeña, ha presentado problemas de salud que requieren atención médica especializada y continua. Entre sus diagnósticos están:

<div>	•	Higroma quístico cervical derecho (quiste en el cuello que afecta región submentoniana y paratraqueal).
</div>
<div>	•	Taquicardia sinusal leve.
</div>
<div>	•	Pseudoestrabismo y conjuntivitis alérgica con ojo seco.

<div>En abril de 2025, fue sometida a una escleroterapia con bleomicina guiada por ecografía para tratar el higroma quístico cervical. Aunque hubo mejoría parcial, la inflamación persiste y los especialistas han indicado la necesidad urgente de una resonancia magnética con contraste para evaluar la evolución de la lesión antes de la nueva intervención quirúrgica que debe realizarse.

<div>En el área cardiológica, Emma ha sido evaluada por especialistas que confirmaron que su corazón es estructuralmente sano, pero que requiere control y tratamiento por su taquicardia sinusal. En oftalmología, recibe gotas especiales y seguimiento periódico para su condición ocular.

<div> El día que supe de todo esto, mi corazón se rompió. No podía quedarme de brazos cruzados, así que tomé una de las decisiones más difíciles de mi vida: emigrar de Venezuela a Estados Unidos. Dejé mi hogar, mi familia y mi tierra con un solo propósito: trabajar para costear los tratamientos y estudios de mi nieta. Este sacrificio también me ha robado algo muy valioso: no he podido verla crecer ni disfrutar de sus abrazos y sonrisas cada día.
