Ayúdame a cursar una maestría en España

Durante mi vida profesional, me he dedicado a la práctica de la oratoria, argumentación y pensamiento crítico enfocado en la comunicación política y el marketing, sin embargo, mi gran pasión sigue siendo la academia.

Debido a ello me encuentro en proceso de entrega de tesis de Especialización en Derecho y Política Internacional, lo que me llevo a buscar mi próximo paso en los estudios.

Durante marzo de este año me postule para concursar por una beca proporcionada por la Fundación Carolina, en principio, me encontraba profundamente interesada por el Máster en Liderazgo impartido por el Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno de Madrid, España.

Lamentable fue obtener la noticia por parte de la Fundación informando que no había obtenido la beca. A pesar de ello, y como no hay mal que por bien no venga, fui contactada por el Instituto, para informarme que si había sido seleccionada pero que habían quedado fuera de la Fundación por cambios en el alcance de la Maestria. Es así como me informan que ahora, el Master que tanto me ilusionaba iba a ser impartido por la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, una Universidad Privada de Madrid y que su nombre ahora seria " Máster Universitario en Acción Política, Fortalecimientos Institucional y Participación Ciudadana en el Estado de Derecho." Y que tendría un costo total de €12.500.

Un poco triste por pensar que ya no podría cursar el Máster, aplique por una beca al mismo, esperando bajar lo más posible los costos del mismo, siendo así que el 1 de agosto recibí la noticia de que había sido becada en 100% del coste de la matricula.

¡No puedo estar más agradecida con la UFV por darme esta oportunidad! Sin embargo mi capacidad económica no me permite presentar los recursos necesarios para obtener la visa del estudios, la cual representa un total de €538 mensuales o €6.460 anuales.

Es por esto que hoy hago esta campaña por un máximo de €1700 (comenzamos neceditando 7000 pero gracias a muchos angelitos ese maximo ha bajado) con los cuales podré justificar mi solvencia económica para entrar a España y pagar los costos de traslado desde mi país hasta Madrid y poder sostenerme durante unos meses mientras puedo conseguir una vivienda y trabajo estables durante mi máster.

Cualquier ayuda que puedan proporcionarme será un granito para cumplir un gran sueño, para no dejar pasar una oportunidad única en un millón (o en más de 4000 personas que aplicaron a la misma beca que yo) y un paso para la construcción de un pensamiento político mayor, algo que tanto necesitamos en estos dias, aprendiendo de los mejores.

Recuerda que la voz de los que sueñan, nunca calla y que trabajando juntos lograremos grandes cosas.

Hi, I´m Giselle.

Throughout my professional life, I’ve dedicated my life to the practice of oratory, argumentation and critical thinking focused on political communication and marketing. However, my great passion lies in the academy.

Because of this, I am in the process of delivering my Specialization thesis in International Law and Politics, which led me to look for the next step in my studies.

In March of this year, I applied for a scholarship offered by Fundación Carolina. Initially, I was deeply interested in the Master in Leadership given by the Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno of Madrid, Spain.

Unfortunate was hearing the news from the foundation informing me that I had not obtained the scholarship. Despite this, and since every cloud has a silver lining, I was contacted by the institute to notify me that I had been selected but the institute had been left out of the foundation due to changes in the scope of the Master. This is when they told me that the Master I was so excited about, was going to be taught by the Francisco de Vitoria University, a Private University in Madrid, that its name would be now "Master's Degree in Political Action, Institutional Strengthening and Citizen Participation in the Rule of law", and that it would have a total cost of € 12,500.

Even though I was a little sad to think that I could not take the Master, I applied for a scholarship hoping to reduce the costs as much as possible. With that being the case, on August the 1st, I received the news that I had been awarded a full-tuition scholarship.

I can't be more grateful to the UFV for giving me this opportunity!

However, my economic capacity doesn't allow me to cover all the necessary resources to obtain a student visa, which represents a total of € 538 per month or € 6,460 per year.

That's why today I start this fundraising campaign for a maximum of € 1700, with that amount I could justify my financial solvency to arrive in Spain and pay my moving costs from my country to Madrid, and also to be able to support myself for a few months while I found a place to reside and a stable job during my master.

Any help you can provide me will be greatly appreciated, since it would help me to fulfill a great dream and not miss this one in a million opportunity (more than 4000 people applied to the same scholarship), but also it would be one step to build a better political thinking, something that we need so much these days, by learning from the best in the field.
