<div>Mi mamá padece de Alzheimer, etapa avanzada , tiene problemas con el corazon, tiene una válvula tapada y calcificada, lo que le provoca retención de líquidos en los pulmones. También es diabética y sufre de la tiroides. Luego de estar hospitalizada varios dias por problemas en el corazon, su salud se ha deteriorado tanto que necesita cuidado 24/7 para su alimentación, higiene, tomar medicamentos y compañía.

<div>Mi hermano y yo hacemos todo lo posible por atenderla, pero ambos trabajamos para poder cubrir las cuentas y sobrevivir ante los altos costos de vida. Hemos buscado ayuda del gobierno, pero lamentablemente no hemos conseguido el apoyo necesario para el cuido de ella.

<div>Quienes conocen a mi mamá saben que siempre fue una excelente madre, abuela, bisabuela, amiga, tía, cuñada y compañera incondicional. Trabajadora, luchadora, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a todos sin esperar nada a cambio. Le encantaba hacer reuniones familiares, tomaba fotos para todo y cada momento era una celebración para ella. Su alegría y picardia la caracterizaba.

<div>Hoy es ella quien necesita de nuestra ayuda y solidaridad. Queremos brindarle la calidad de vida y el cuidado digno que merece, pero para ello necesitamos apoyo económico para costear los gastos de su cuidado en el hogar. Es sabido que el cuido para estas personas en el hogar es costoso.
