Sufro de Linfoma de Hodgkin Nodular Esclerosante Estadio III desde diciembre de 2016.
Permítanme presentarme me llamo Freddy Sosa, venezolano de 49 años. Actualmente me desempeño como Productor Cinematográfico Independiente con más de 20 años de experiencia en las áreas de: Comerciales de Televisión, Películas, Videoclips, Fotografías y Eventos Corporativos en Caracas, Venezuela.
Necesito con URGENCIA realizarme un Trasplante Autólogo de Medula Ósea, para combatir esta enfermedad.
Mi médico tratante es la Dra. Yokeimi La Cruz con consultorio en el Banco Municipal de Sangre, en Caracas, Venezuela.
Actualmente acudo a FundaMédula donde estoy en evaluación para mi posible trasplante el cual se debe realizar en el Hospital de Clínicas Caracas. Mi única opción fue acudir a una clínica privada, donde me pueden hacer este tratamiento ya que en los hospitales públicos es imposible por la difícil situación del país. Adicionalmente, debo comprar la mayoría de los medicamentos los cuales no existen o son súper costosos porque son importados, así como también debo costear todos los exámenes y el trasplante en sí.
El tratamiento consiste de 2 fases:
Fase 1
· Quimioterapia + Medicamentos
· Movilización y colecta de las Células Progenitoras (realizado en junio de 2018)
Fase 2
· Estudio CT-PET
· Evaluación Cardiológica
· Evaluación Neumológica
· Rayos X de Tórax
· Exámenes de Laboratorio
· Quimioterapia de rescate + Medicamentos
· Trasplante Autólogo de Medula Ósea
· Inmunoterapia + Medicamentos
· Vacunación
En el mes de diciembre 2018, se me aplico la segunda quimioterapia de rescate y la misma afecto mi medula ósea, bajando mis niveles de sangre a niveles tan bajos que tuve que ser hospitalizado por 18 días, debido a una anemia severa, por lo que tuvieron que transfundirme plaquetas e inclusive plasma fresco, para detener una hemorragia interna que complico mi condición. Por esta razón, mi Oncóloga, decide que requiero un tratamiento de Urgencia con inmunoterapia con Adcetris 50 mg (64 ampollas ) o Nivolumab 40 mg (96 ampollas). Este tratamiento no se consigue en Venezuela, por lo que debo adquirlo en dólares en otro país. Adicionalmente es extremadamente costoso, pero es la única solución para poder recuperarme y llegar sano a mi transplante de medula.
Por esta razón me veo en la necesidad de solicitar ayuda económica, para poder comprar este tratamiento de inmunoterapia y luego realizarme dicho trasplante autólogo de medula ósea que requiero con urgencia.

My name is Freddy Sosa, and I am a 49 years old Venezuelan. I work as an independent film producer, and have more than 20 years of experience in TV commercials, movies, video clips, photography, and corporate events in Caracas, Venezuela.
I need an autologous bone marrow transplant URGENTLY, in order to fight this illness.
My treating physician, Dr. Yokeimi La Cruz, has her office at the Municipal Blood Bank in Caracas, Venezuela.
I currently go to Fundamedula where I am being evaluated for my possible transplant which must be done in the Hospital de Clinica Caracas, a highly prestigious private hospital. My only option was to go to a private hospital because in public hospitals it is impossible for the difficult situation of the country (Venezuela). I must also buy most of the medications which do not exist in Venezuela, or are super expensive because they are imported. Finally, I have to pay for all the labs, imaging tests, other tests, and the transplant itself.
The treatment consists of 2 phases:
Phase 1
• Chemotherapy + Medications
• Mobilization and collection of Progenitor Cells (completed in June, 2018)
Phase 2
• CT-PET study
• Cardiovascular Evaluation
• Pulmonary Evaluation
• Torax X rays
• Laboratory exams
• Rescue chemotherapy + Medications
• Autologous Bone Marrow Transplant
• Immunotherapy + Medications
• Vaccination
In December of 2018I got the second rescue chemotherapy, which affected my bone marrow, dropping my blood counts so much that I had to stay at the hospital for 18 days, due to severe anemia, that lead to platelets and even fresh plasma transfusion in order to stop an internal bleeding that complicated my condition. That is why my oncologist decided that I need an urgent treatment with immunotherapy, either Adcetris 50 mg (64 blisters) or Nivolumab 40 mg (96 blisters). None of these immunotherapies can be found in Venezuela, so I have to buy it in a foreign country in American dollars at a very high price. This is however the only way for me to recover so that I can tolerate the transplant.
For this reason, I find myself in need of requesting financial help, to be able to buy the immunotherapy treatment, and then to receive the mentioned autologous bone marrow transplant that I require with urgency.
With your kind help I can fight this disease. Any contribution will greatly increase my chances to live without Cancer.
