<div>Hola, somos la familia de <strong>Armando </strong>y queremos compartir su historia, porque hoy más que nunca necesita nuestra ayuda, y quizás también la tuya.

<div>Desde 2020, Armando vive con una enfermedad devastadora llamada <strong>NEURALGIA DEL TRIGÉMINO</strong>, una de las condiciones más dolorosas que existen. El dolor es tan extremo que muchos la conocen como “la enfermedad del suicidio”. Quienes lo vivimos de cerca sabemos que esta lucha ha ido apagando poco a poco su calidad de vida, su energía y su alegría.

<div><strong>Nuestro recorrido médico</strong>
</div>
<div>A lo largo de estos años, ha sido sometido a <strong>cuatro tratamientos de radiofrecuencia</strong>, todos con alivio temporal. El último fue en mayo de 2024, cuando su hijo tenía solo un mes de nacido. Debería haber sido una de las etapas más felices de su vida, pero el dolor era tan insoportable que <strong>ni siquiera podía sostener a su bebé en brazos</strong>.

<div>Desde entonces, Armando ha estado medicado con fármacos muy fuertes. Estos apenas lo adormecen, lo mantienen sedado, pero <strong>no alivian el dolor</strong>. En junio de 2024 su situación fue tan grave que tuvo que ser <strong>hospitalizado durante tres semanas.</strong>

<div>En agosto, gracias a la sanidad pública, se sometió a una <strong>cirugía de descompresión microvascular</strong>. Fue un rayo de esperanza: <strong>durante seis meses vivió con una mejoría notable</strong>. Poco a poco, comenzó a reducir la medicación, volvió a sonreír y empezó a ilusionarse con la idea de recuperar su vida.

<div>Pero en marzo de este año, todo volvió.<strong> El dolor regresó con la misma intensidad y, una vez más, le robó la posibilidad de hablar, de comer con normalidad, de trabajar, de cepillarse los dientes, de sonreír... y de estar presente en la vida de su hijo, </strong>que ya tiene más de un año. No ha podido compartir con él los momentos más simples y más valiosos que sueña como padre.

<div><strong> Tratamiento actual</strong>
</div>
<div>En la actualidad, Armando continúa bajo tratamiento farmacológico diario con medicamentos muy potentes que ya <strong>han dejado de ser efectivos para aliviar su dolor.</strong> Estas son las dosis que está tomando actualmente:

<div>•	<strong>Lioresal </strong>/ Baclofeno 10 mg cada 8 horas

<div>•	<strong>Tryptizol </strong>(Amitriptilina) 50 mg por la noche

<div>A pesar de la intensidad del tratamiento, estos medicamentos solo logran sedarlo parcialmente y no alivian el dolor que sufre cada día. Esto hace urgente encontrar una solución quirúrgica que pueda ofrecerle una verdadera mejora en su calidad de vida.

<div>La sanidad pública le ofrece repetir la misma cirugía anterior, pero lamentablemente <strong>ya no funcionó</strong>. Por eso, buscamos otras opciones y encontramos a un <strong>especialista en Madrid</strong> con amplia experiencia en esta enfermedad, que propone una <strong>nueva intervención quirúrgica con una técnica más precisa y adaptada a su caso atípico.</strong>

<div>Since 2020, Armando has been living with a devastating condition called <strong>trigeminal neuralgia</strong>—one of the most painful disorders known to exist. The pain is so intense that it's often called “the suicide disease.” For those of us who’ve witnessed it up close, we’ve seen how it has slowly drained his energy, joy, and quality of life.

<div><strong>Our Medical Journey</strong>

<div>Over the years, Armando has undergone four radiofrequency treatments, each offering only temporary relief. The last one was in May 2024, when his son was just a month old. It should have been one of the happiest times of his life—but the pain was so unbearable that he couldn’t even hold his baby in his arms.

<div>Since then, Armando has been on very strong medications. These only sedate him—they don’t relieve the pain. In June 2024, his condition worsened to the point where he had to be <strong>hospitalized for three weeks.</strong>

<div>In August, thanks to public healthcare, he underwent microvascular decompression surgery. It gave us a ray of hope: for six months, he experienced a noticeable improvement. He began to reduce his medication, smile again, and dream about getting his life back.

<div>But in March of this year, <strong>the pain returned</strong>—just as intense as before. <strong>Once again, it has taken away his ability to speak, eat normally, work, brush his teeth, smile… and be present in his son’s life. </strong>His little boy is now over a year old, and Armando hasn’t been able to share in the simplest, most precious moments he longs for as a father.

<div><strong>Current Treatment</strong>

<div>Armando is currently on a daily regimen of powerful medications that are no longer effective. Here’s what he’s taking:
