<div>Mi nombre es José Luis Amero, y junto con mi familia estamos atravesando una de las situaciones más difíciles que jamás imaginamos. A las 28 semanas de embarazo, mi esposa Jimena Ortega ingreso de emergencia al hospital debido a un dolor abdominal intenso que resultó ser trabajo de parto. Los médicos realizaron una cesárea de emergencia, y aunque el procedimiento fue exitoso, nuestra pequeña Renata nació mucho antes de lo esperado, lo que requirió atención especializada e inmediata en terapia intensiva neonatal.

<div>En las primeras horas de vida, Renata tuvo que ser intubada, y las primeras 72 horas fueron críticas. Con una valentía impresionante, logró superar ese primer gran obstáculo y fue extubada. Sin embargo, poco después contrajo una fuerte bacteria que la obligó a ser intubada nuevamente, y su estado ha vuelto a ser crítico.

<div>Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por trasladarla al Hospital del Niño y La Mujer en Querétaro, lo que nos permitirá aligerar los costos, pero hasta que Renata no esté estable y pueda ser extubada, el riesgo de empeorar con el traslado es demasiado alto. La situación es delicada y cada día en terapia intensiva suma enormes costos que nos están sobrepasando.

<div>En solo 10 días, las cuentas del hospital se han disparado, y los médicos estiman que Renata podría necesitar hasta 2 meses más de cuidados intensivos. Como padres, estamos haciendo todo lo que está a nuestro alcance para seguir adelante, pero necesitamos ayuda.

<div>My name is Jose Luis Amero, and together with my family, we are going through one of the most difficult situations we could have ever imagined. At 28 weeks of pregnancy, my wife was rushed to the hospital due to severe abdominal pain, which turned out to be labor. The doctors performed an emergency C-section, and although the procedure was successful, our little Renata was born much earlier than expected. She needed specialized and urgent care in the neonatal intensive care unit.

<div>During her first hours of life, Renata had to be intubated, and the first 72 hours were critical. With incredible bravery, she overcame that first big hurdle and was extubated. However, shortly after, she contracted a severe bacterial infection, which forced her to be intubated again, and her condition has once again become critical.

<div>We are doing everything we can to transfer her to another hospital (Hospital del Niño y La Mujer, in Queretaro, Mx) to help reduce the mounting expenses, but until Renata is stable and extubated, the risk of her condition worsening during a transfer is too high. The situation is delicate, and every day in intensive care adds enormous costs that are becoming overwhelming.

<div>In just 10 days, the hospital bills have skyrocketed, and the doctors estimate that Renata might need up to 2 more months in intensive care. As parents, we are doing everything we can to keep going, but we need help.
