<div>Hola, mi nombre es Gretta Zamora, soy mexicana y actualmente vivo en Ciudad de México. La beneficiaria de esta campaña es mi abuela paterna Haydee Robles (venezolana, 75 años), quien vive en La Guaira, Venezuela. Estoy organizando esta recaudación porque soy una de las pocas familiares que hoy puede coordinar esta ayuda desde el extranjero.

<div>Hace apenas dos años mi abuela Haydee perdió a uno de sus hijos con quien vivía en Caracas, a causa del cáncer. Con mucho esfuerzo, en agosto del año pasado, mi tía Natasha logró convencerla de mudarse a La Guaira para poder cuidarla más fácilmente y que comenzara una nueva etapa estando más cerca de ella y de su nieto Andrés, su única familia directa en el país.

<div>Desafortunadamente, el terremoto cambió todo para siempre.

<div>Mi tía Natasha Zamora y mi primo Andrés Alcalá, médico residente del Hospital José María Vargas de La Guaira, fallecieron en esta tragedia del terremoto del 24 de junio en el colapso de su Edificio Bucaneros en el sector de Playa Grande, y además del inmenso dolor de perder a su familia, el edificio donde vivía mi abuela (Residencias SUMMA) quedó también destruido por lo que no puede regresar a su hogar. Ella logró salir con vida junto con su perrito Chucho. Mientras evacuaba el edificio sufrió una caída que resultó en una fractura de pierna. El día de ayer fue recogida del hospital y resguardada por Carolina (cuñada de mi tía Natasha) y aún estamos resolviendo cuál será su situación definitiva.

<div>Mi abuela es una mujer mayor que vive con EPOC, una enfermedad respiratoria crónica que requiere medicamentos y cuidados constantes. Su pensión en Venezuela es insuficiente para cubrir incluso sus necesidades más básicas como alimentación y tras esta tragedia necesita mucho más que eso; necesita estabilidad, seguridad y la oportunidad de volver a empezar.

<div>Los fondos recaudados se utilizarán exclusivamente para ayudarla con sus necesidades más urgentes: encontrar un lugar seguro donde vivir, cubrir alimentación, medicamentos y atención médica, así como artículos esenciales y los gastos necesarios para que pueda reconstruir su vida.

<div>Distribución estimada de los fondos para los siguientes meses según la meta actual de 200,000 MXN pesos mexicanos (equivalente a 11,400 dólares apróx):

<div>* $45,000 MXN (22.5%) – Alimentación y necesidades básicas.
</div>
<div>* $45,000 MXN (22.5%) – Atención médica, medicamentos, tratamiento para EPOC y recuperación de su fractura actual.
</div>
<div>* $25,000 MXN (12.5%) – Transporte, boleto MX-VE, comisiones bancarias y envío de recursos a Venezuela.

<div>* $15,000 MXN (7.5%) – Artículos esenciales e imprevistos.

<div>Esta distribución es una estimación y podrá ajustarse según las necesidades reales de Haydee conforme evolucione su situación.

<div>My name is Gretta Zamora and I live in Mexico City. I created this fundraiser to support my 75-year-old grandmother, Haydee Robles, who lives in La Guaira, Venezuela.

<div>Two years ago, she lost one of her sons to cancer. Last year, she moved to La Guaira to be closer to her daughter, Natasha, and her grandson, Andrés, who were her only close family in Venezuela.

<div>On June 24, everything changed. My aunt Natasha and my cousin Andrés, a medical resident at Hospital JM Vargas in La Guaira, lost their lives in the earthquake after the collapse of the Bucaneros residential building. My grandmother also lost her home, which suffered severe damage and is no longer safe to live in. She fractured her leg while evacuating her building with her dog Chucho but now she is currently safe at Carolina's place (my aunt Natasha's sister in law), but we are still figuring out her permanent situation.

<div>She is 75 years old, lives with COPD, and has a very limited pension that is not enough to cover even her basic needs.

<div>All funds raised will be used exclusively to provide her with safe housing, food, medication, medical care, and other essential expenses while she rebuilds her life.
