Hola, soy Laudy Borjas y tengo 7 añitos y padezco de una hidrocefalia comunicante. A la edad de 5 añitos me diagnosticaron está enfermedad y a los 6 añitos lograron colocarme mi válvula. Yo tengo una válvula ventrículo peritoneal presión baja pero apartir de hoy todo me a cambiado. Mi válvula viene desde mi cabezita hasta el abdomen y los problemas empezaron cuando empeze a bajar de peso. Como saben, las cosas en Venezuela estan muy malas y es muy dificil para mi mami poder comprar la comida y leche que necesitamos. Necesito tomar Pediasure como en el momento no aguanto alimento de comida normal. Estoy que me sentía muy mal y mi barriguita cada vez crecía muchos más.

El catéter de mi válvula tambien forma quistes el cual ya llevo 6 operaciones en 8 meses para arreglar. En estos momentos me encuentro recluida en el hospital Miguel Pérez Carreño en la capital de Caracas en 3 piso, en el área de neurología. Con la condición que tengo, mi catéter se tapó y le hicieron una incisión por la clavícula y está drenando fuera de mi cuerpo en una bolsita. Estoy en espera de mi cirugía de cambio de válvula y necesito la ayudas de angeles como ustedes para poder hacerlo . En estos momentos estoy muy malita y que al parecer tengo un quiste debajo de el cerebro que esta poniendo mucha prescion y esta cuasando muchos problemas. Yo no ha podido dormir, hablar, moverme, ni si quiera reconoser mis mamis. Ya estamos listo para operar sobre el quiste pero todavia tengo fiebre que no se me baja.

En este momento tengo que hacer examenes y culturas para ver si tengo una infection o ongo que no deja la fiebre romper. Para mí familia el costo de examenes, medicinas, pañales y alimentos para todos sonn inalcanzables ya que somos de bajos recursos y aparte de toda mi enfermedad no tenemos familia aquí en Caracas. Por favor, les pido ayuda para que yo pueda vivir como una chica normal. Quiero reir y bailar y abrazar a mi mami. Ayudanos realisar este sueño para mi y con los gastos medicos, alimentarios y necesidads basico.

Hi everyone! I am Laudy Borjas and I am 7 years old. I suffer from hydrocephalus and was diagnosed at the age of 5 with this disease. At 6 years old is when I had my low-pressure peritoneal ventricle valve placed. My valve connects from my head to the abdomen and problems with this started arising when I started losing weight. As you know, things in Venezuela are very bad and it is very difficult for my mom to be able to buy the food, Pediasure, and medicines I need. I need to take Pediasure as at the moment I cannot tolerate normal food.

Lately, I have not been feeling well and my belly has been growing more and more. The catheter of my valve also forms cysts which already took 6 operations in 8 months to fix. At the moment I am staying in the hospital Miguel Pérez Carreño in the capital of Caracas on the 3rd floor, in the area of neurology. With the condition that I have, my catheter had to be covered and an incision was made through the clavicle so that it could drain out of my body into a small bag. I am waiting for my valve replacement surgery and I need the help of angels like you to be able to do it.

At the moment I'm very sick and the doctors have found that I have a cyst under my brain that is putting a lot of pressure on it and causing severe problems. I have not been able to sleep, talk, move, or even recognize my mom. We are ready to operate on the cyst but I still have a fever that does not go down. We need to have exams and cultures done to see if I have an infection that does not let the fever break. For me, the cost of exams, medicines, diapers, and food are unattainable since we are low income and no family here in Caracas.

Please, I ask for your help so that I can live like a normal little girl. I want to laugh and dance and hug my mommy. Help us realize this dream for me and help us with medical expenses, food, and basic needs. May God bless all my angels.
