<div>Debido a la gravedad de su estado, Yolanda tuvo que ser hospitalizada de emergencia en un hospital privado en la Ciudad de Colima, ya que el ISSSTE local no cuenta con unidad de cuidados intensivos. Un traslado a Guadalajara en esas condiciones habría puesto en riesgo su vida, por lo que esta decisión fue crucial para salvarla.

<div>Yolanda permaneció 20 días en terapia intensiva, y aunque logró salir de esa etapa crítica, hoy enfrenta un proceso largo y costoso de recuperación. Como consecuencia del derrame, Yolanda quedó con hemiplejia, lo que ha limitado de forma significativa su movilidad. Fue dada de alta con traqueostomía, gastrostomía y sonda, por lo que requiere:

<div>Due to the severity of her condition, Yolanda had to be urgently admitted to a private hospital in the city of Colima, as the local ISSSTE facility does not have an intensive care unit. Transferring her to Guadalajara under those circumstances would have put her life at risk, so this decision was crucial to save her.

<div>Yolanda spent 20 days in intensive care, and although she made it through that critical phase, she is now facing a long and costly road to recovery. As a result of the stroke, Yolanda has been left with hemiplegia, which has significantly limited her mobility. She was discharged with a tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and feeding tube, and now requires:

<div>Intensive physical and rehabilitation therapy to improve her mobility and quality of life
