Ayuda para Cristina, con metastasis cerebral

AYÚDAME A SALVAR A MI MAMA!

HELP ME SAVE MY MOM!

For those who don't know her, she is my mother, Cristina Otero, she lives in Venezuela. On January 7, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Cristina started treatment of chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy, since the cells found in her body were very aggressive, so the oncologist decided to pursue this strategy. By the end of the treatment, luckily, the lung tumor had been reduced by 80%, but there was bad news. Chemotherapy didn't do anything at all, so the cells remained intact.

After doing more tests, the bad news continued, Cristina had metastases in several nodes of her body, located in the back and hip. He was required many more tests. On July 2, Cristina suffered a stroke. By having several other tests, they confirmed that cancer had metastasized to the brain.

TREATMENT

After performing the immunohistochemical test, the attending physician recommends chemotherapy with NIVOLUMAB (Opdivo), a medication used to treat several types of cancer, mainly those related to head, neck and Hodgkin lymphoma cancer. This medication is sold by an Organization called " Badan " they're helping us finding the blisters, since this treatment is really new even worldwide, so is really difficult to find it in Venezuela.

The treatment requires 20 blisters of Nivolumab - 40mgs, in order to give her 4 sessions of this treatment, 5 blisters per session. 13 of them are needed today since luckily we have been able to get another 7 with the help of our family and friends.

Unfortunately, this medicine is beyond our reach since we have exhausted all our resources in the treatments, consultations, medicines and all kinds of tests that have been required since January 2019, when my mom received her first diagnosis.

I'm creating this campaign to request any kind of support so that I can reach as many people as possible, if you cannot donate, I would be more than grateful if you could spread this, I am sure that together we could save my mother.

Grateful for any help you could give me. Thank you so much even for taking the time to read this.
