<div>Aires es un espacio autogestivo y colectivo, que hasta ahora no ha recibido ninguna partida presupuestal de alguna institución pública o privada. Aunque muchas organizaciones se han sumado a nuestro proyecto a través de apoyos materiales (instrumentos, difusión, espacios), la carencia de un presupuesto económico fijo nos limita enormemente.

<div>Durante diez años, Aires operó solamente con pequeñas contribuciones económicas voluntarias, principalmente del propio comité organizador. Pero el festival ha crecido mucho y ese esquema se vuelve insostenible para nosotrxs.

<div>La preparación de Aires requiere dinero. Diseño, difusión, fotografía, impresión, gestión de redes, traslado de personas, sitio web… Cada una de esas actividades requiere trabajo y, por tanto, dinero. Y mencionamos hasta ahora solamente el aspecto logístico, sin mencionar a las decenas de músicxs y compositorxs que participan en cada edición. Nadie en Aires merece trabajar bajo esquemas que reproducen y normalizan la precarización laboral en el sector cultural.
