<div>La noche del domingo, nuestra querida prima, Sandra, fue víctima de un brutal ataque con ácido en Celaya, Guanajuato. Mientras caminaba acompañada de un amigo en la colonia Bosques de la Alameda, una persona encapuchada se acercó y les arrojó una sustancia corrosiva antes de huir del lugar.

<div>Como consecuencia de este acto de violencia, nuestra prima sufrió quemaduras graves de segundo grado en el rostro, brazos, espalda y cuero cabelludo. Además, parte de la sustancia fue ingerida, provocándole lesiones internas que han puesto en riesgo su vida. Actualmente se encuentra hospitalizada en estado crítico, luchando día a día por sobrevivir.

<div>El dolor físico y emocional que está enfrentando es indescriptible. Los médicos continúan haciendo todo lo posible para salvar su vida y brindarle la atención especializada que necesita. Sin embargo, los gastos médicos, hospitalarios, medicamentos, tratamientos especializados, posibles cirugías reconstructivas y el largo proceso de recuperación representan una carga económica enorme para nuestra familia.

<div>Our family is experiencing one of the most painful and unexpected tragedies of our lives.

<div>On Sunday night, our beloved cousin, Sandra Cordoba, was the victim of a brutal acid attack in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. While she was walking with a friend in the Bosques de la Alameda neighborhood, a hooded individual approached them and threw a corrosive substance at them before fleeing the scene.

<div>As a result of this violent act, our cousin suffered severe second-degree burns to her face, arms, back, and scalp. In addition, some of the acid was ingested, causing internal injuries that have placed her life in danger. She is currently hospitalized in critical condition, fighting every day for her survival.

<div>The physical and emotional pain she is enduring is unimaginable. Doctors are doing everything possible to save her life and provide the specialized care she desperately needs. However, the costs of hospitalization, medications, specialized burn treatments, possible reconstructive surgeries, and the long road to recovery have created an overwhelming financial burden for our family.
