 A raíz de los recientes terremotos ocurridos en Venezuela, nuestra estabilidad se vino abajo. La casa donde vivo, en Valencia, junto a mi familia sufrió graves daños estructurales; las paredes se han agrietado drásticamente y las bases de nuestro hogar están comprometidas. Tuvimos que desalojar por el riesgo inminente que esto representa, pero mantenemos la fe intacta porque nuestro hogar es reparable.

 Como docente jubilado en Venezuela, mis ingresos actuales no me permiten costear los altísimos gastos que implica una reparación de esta magnitud. No contamos con los recursos económicos para comprar los materiales de construcción (cemento, cabillas, arena, bloques y derivados) ni para pagar la mano de obra especializada que evalúe y asegure nuevamente nuestra vivienda. Por esta razón, acudimos a la solidaridad de cada uno de ustedes para poder regresar a nuestro hogar.
