<div>Gracias al apoyo recibido en dos recaudaciones previas, Mundo Animal logró sobrevivir la pandemia. Desde 2022, hemos reactivado nuestros talleres, que sostienen a los animales, pero sin crecimiento. Recientemente, Krono, nuestro perro lobo, sufrió una grave herida que casi le cuesta su vida y su pata trasera izquierda. Tras tres cirugías y más de 40 sesiones de cámara hiperbárica hemos logrado salvarlo y su patita sigue en tratamiento. Los costos son difíciles de cubrir y necesitamos tu ayuda. Krono es especial: es hijo de una loba gris mexicana, especie extinguida en los años 40 por campañas agresivas de exterminio. Actualmente, se han logrado liberar algunos ejemplares gracias a esfuerzos mexicanos y estadounidenses, y en 2014 se registró la primera camada de lobo gris mexicano nacido en vida libre en el país. Es un gran ejemplo de la influencia que tenemos las personas en la conservación de la naturaleza.

<div>Además, no somos dueños de las instalaciones; tuvimos que ser reubicados, ampliando y mejorando las instalaciones del espacio que nos asignaron. Contamos con el apoyo de los propietarios, sin embargo, tenemos que cubrir un 70% de los gastos de construcción para brindar un entorno ideal para nuestros 24 animales.

<div>Mundo Animal promueve la educación ambiental vivencial para niños, adolescentes y adultos en Valle de Bravo y la CDMX. Con 22 especies, en su mayoría donadas o rescatadas, en 18 años hemos impactado a más de 21,000 participantes a través de más de 1,100 talleres y numerosas actividades comunitarias y eventos privados. Esta campaña es para poder continuar con nuestra labor y seguir sensibilizando a más personas sobre la importancia de los animales y la naturaleza.

<div>Thanks to the support received through two previous fundraising campaigns, Mundo Animal managed to survive the pandemic. <div>Krono is special: he is the offspring of a Mexican gray wolf, a species that was driven to extinction in the 1940s due to aggressive extermination campaigns. Fortunately, thanks to joint efforts by Mexico and the United States, some specimens have been reintroduced into the wild. In 2014, the first litter of Mexican gray wolves born in the wild was recorded in Mexico. Krono represents the profound impact people can have on nature conservation.
