<div>Con el corazón lleno de esperanza y solidaridad se ha lanzado esta iniciativa para ayudar a mi amiga <strong>Merce, una valiente jienense de 26 años que lucha contra el Ehlers Danlos, una Enfermedad Rara que afecta todo su cuerpo.</strong>

<div>Imagina que el "pegamento" de su cuerpo (el colágeno) es defectuoso, falla y afecta a huesos, ligamentos, articulaciones, venas, piel, órganos...

<div>Merce sufre de<strong> Ehlers-Danlos Hipermóvil Grave,</strong> causante de diferentes enfermedades raras como son los síndromes compresivos vasculares múltiples (S. de Wilkie, S. Ligamento Arcuato Medio, S. Cascanueces y S. May-Thurner), patologías muy complejas de la especialidad de neurocirugía (Inestabilidad Craneocervical, Inestabilidad Atlantoaxial, Médula Anclada Oculta e Inestabilidad Lumbar). Además de neuropatía de fibra fina, una importante disautonomía y otros diagnósticos a la espera de pruebas y resultados.

<div><strong>Este año ha sido un desafío enorme para su familia, con gastos que superan los 45.000€ en intervenciones, ingresos, pruebas y terapias. Y las necesidades siguen aumentando. Cada aporte económico, por pequeño que sea, es un granito de arena para mejorar la calidad de vida de Merce ❤️‍</strong>

<div> With the heart full of hope and solidarity, we have started this fundraiser to help <b>my friend Merce, a brave 26-year-old Andalusian, from south of Spain, who is fighting against Ehlers-Danlos, a Rare Illness that affects her entire body</b>. 

</div>

<div>Imagine that the ‘glue’ of her body (collagen) is defective so it affects the bones, ligaments, joints, veins, skin and organs. 

</div>

<div><b><br /></b>

</div>

<div><b>Merce suffers from severe Ehlers-Danlos Hypermobile</b>, causing different kinds of rare illnesses such as multiple Compressive Vascular Syndromes (Wilkie´s syndrome, Medium Arcuate Ligament syndrome, Nutcracker Syndrome and May-Thurner Syndrome), very complex pathology from neurological specialty (Craniocervical instability, Atlantoaxial instability, Occult Tethered Cord and Lumbar instability).  Also Small fiber neuropathy, an important dysautonomia and other diagnosis waiting to be tested.

<div><b>This year has been very challenging for her family, with expenses of more than 45.000€ in surgeries, hospital stays, tests and treatments. The needs continue increasing and all economic support, no matter how small, will help improve Merce´s quality of life ❤️‍</b>

<div>Furthermore, <b>all exceeding donation will be donated to the Spanish Association of Ehlers-Danlos to improve the research </b>
