<div>Adán López, conocido como Junior por sus familiares y amigos cercanos, es un niño de 12 años que solo quiere jugar con sus amigos e ir a la escuela. Hace cinco años, en noviembre de 2020, a Adán le diagnosticaron por primera vez un osteosarcoma en la rodilla. Desde entonces, se ha sometido a tratamientos y cirugías. En mayo de 2025, hacia el final de su sexto año de primaria, Adán se sometió a una cirugía llamada rotación plástica para salvar su pierna y darle más movilidad. En julio de 2025, Adán se sometió a una cirugía para extirpar una masa que se desarrolló en su pulmón derecho. Mientras estaba en casa recuperándose y esperando poder volver a la escuela, desafortunadamente desarrolló otra masa en su corazón. Actualmente, el tumor está provocando una acumulación de líquido en su corazón y los médicos del Hospital Infantil no le dieron un buen pronóstico. Declararon que el tumor era inoperable. A pesar de todo esto, su familia nunca ha dejado de rezar y nunca ha dejado de creer que Dios obrará un milagro. El cáncer no se detiene ante nadie, pero sus padres no han podido ir a trabajar desde finales de agosto para estar a su lado durante lo que los médicos pensaban que sería el final. Hemos recibido buenas noticias y tenemos más esperanza que nunca de que se cure.

<div>Adan Lopez, known as Junior to his close friends and family, is a 12 year old boy that wants to play with his friends and go to school. Five years ago in November of 2020, Adan was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his knee. Since then, he’s undergone treatments and had surgeries. Towards the end of his 6th grade year in May of 2025, Adan had a surgery called rotationplasty to save his leg and give him more mobility. In July of 2025, Adan had surgery to remove a mass that developed on his right lung. While he was at home recovering and waiting to be able to go back to school, he unfortunately developed another mass in his heart. The mass is currently causing fluid to build-up in his heart, and his doctors at Children’s Hospital did not give a good prognosis. They declared the tumor inoperable. Through all of this, his family has never stopped praying, and they have never stopped believing God will come through with a miracle. His parents have not been able to go to work since the end of August in order to be by his side. They have received some good news and have more hope that he will be cured.

<div>We are currently trying to raise funds to help cover life expenses such as bills, food, and housing since Adan’s parents have not been able to go to work in almost a month. We know God will provide, and our community will come through as we have seen them come through these past few weeks.

<div>Adan and his parents will be traveling to another state within the coming weeks to visit a different hospital. Traveling away from home brings new expenses, and we are seeking your support to help them get through this.
