Ayuda a Kimberly Ariana Calero a Recuperarse Después de una Tragedia 
 
 
 El 23 de junio de 2026, nuestra familia vivió una tragedia que ninguna familia debería tener que soportar. Mientras dormía tranquilamente en su cama, Kimberly Ariana Calero, de solo 2 años, fue alcanzada por una bala cuando disparos entraron en el hogar de su familia en Elkhart, Indiana. Lo que debería haber sido el lugar más seguro para una niña se convirtió en el escenario de una devastadora tragedia. Kimberly fue trasladada de urgencia al hospital y luego llevada en avión al Riley Hospital for Children, donde fue sometida a una cirugía de emergencia para salvar su vida. La bala causó múltiples lesiones graves, incluyendo daño a uno de sus pulmones, su hígado y una perforación en su intestino delgado. También sufrió fracturas en su hombro y varias costillas. 
 
 
 Por la gracia de Dios, Kimberly sobrevivió a la cirugía y actualmente está estable. Sin embargo, sigue en condición crítica, y los médicos han dicho a la familia que las próximas 24 horas son cruciales mientras monitorean de cerca su progreso y respuesta al tratamiento. En este momento, Kimberly permanece sedada mientras recibe atención médica especializada. Aunque estamos agradecidos por cada señal positiva, aún enfrenta un largo camino hacia la recuperación. Sus padres permanecen a su lado día y noche mientras navegan esta situación inimaginable. Además del dolor emocional, enfrentan gastos médicos, costos de viaje, ingresos perdidos por el trabajo y muchas otras cargas financieras inesperadas.
