<div>Todo comenzó después de una caída en la escuela que le provocó una fractura en la columna. Durante las cirugías y estudios médicos, los doctores descubrieron un tumor y posteriormente fue diagnosticado con <strong>sarcoma de Ewing</strong>, un tipo de cáncer muy agresivo.

<div>Mi hermano tuvo una cirugía muy delicada en la columna, donde reemplazaron una vértebra utilizando una prótesis y hueso de donante. Nosotros pensábamos que la cirugía había sido una esperanza para mejorar, pero aproximadamente 20 días después recibimos noticias devastadoras: aparentemente quedó parte del tumor y el <strong>cáncer </strong>se expandió rápidamente.

<div>Actualmente él se encuentra hospitalizado en Torreón, México. Tiene dolor constante, no puede caminar y muchas veces necesita estar sedado debido al dolor que enfrenta diariamente. Mi mamá está dedicada completamente a cuidarlo día y noche.

<div>Nuestra familia es originaria de Chihuahua, México, y aunque yo vivo en Estados Unidos desde hace tiempo, honestamente no contamos con los recursos económicos necesarios para afrontar todo lo que viene.

<div>En este momento estamos buscando una segunda opinión médica en <strong>MD Anderson en Houston, Texas</strong>, con la esperanza de encontrar más opciones para su tratamiento. Ya iniciamos el contacto y estamos esperando poder lograr el traslado hospitalario.
