AYUDA A FABRICIO CORNEJO EN SU LUCHA CON EL COVID

Donation protected

He is Fabricio Cornejo Puig Mir, a working man, husband, father of three children, grandfather of a two-month-old baby and a devout Catholic. Those who have had the joy of knowing him know how kind, honest and happy he always is and that even in adversity he sees the positive side of things with a smile that illuminates everyone's face.
It is terrible to think that a person like him has been a victim of COVID-19 this terrible virus which he contracted due to having been with an infected person on Friday, March 13 without his knowing it, his symptoms began on Saturday, March 14.
He started with a slight cough that that same day turned into a fever, scared knowing what was happening worldwide we tried to admit him to a medical center but they did not want to accept him because he did not have enough symptoms and was NOT serious.
With what was happening to him we made several attempts to get him tested but nobody came, neither public nor private entities.
We continued calling the 171 number that the state gave to call in these situations and they indicated that they would come on Wednesday, March 18 but they never came. That same day we called again and they rescheduled us for Thursday, March 19 and they did not show up either. Looking for internal help, we were able to attend the test on Friday, March 20 and they indicated that the results would be between 24 and 48 hours.
On Saturday March 21 in the morning, my dad woke up very badly. Already his fever was uncontrollable, his cough did not stop and he began to lose his breath.
Scared we took him to emergencies where they told us the worst. My dad had inflammation in his lungs and needed to be hospitalized immediately. They took him to medium therapy and gave him oxygen and he achieved a saturation of 92% but with 80% oxygen, which was very high. The doctors that same afternoon told us that my father's clinical condition was very serious and that they would transfer him to intensive care.
The next day, Sunday, March 22, the doctors told us that the virus was affecting his lungs a lot and that they were going to proceed to sedate him for tubing so that his other organs would not be affected.
Each day of intensive care is more than 3 thousand dollars.
We know that with the faith of God and with every grain of sand that they can contribute, he will succeed in this fight.
