Ayriel Hatley’s Homecoming Service

Donation protected

I’m deeply saddened to be giving this update to those of you who don’t already know.

Ayriel Hatley was in a very serious car accident on Thursday, February 15th 2018. Her mother and brother both survived the accident, but sadly, Ayriel sustained injuries in he accident that she will not recover from. This news has been devastating for anybody who had the honor of being a part of this precious child’s life.

Ayriel isn’t your average 3 year old and her presence was known in any room she entered. She was a natural born entertainer with her baby brother, Jayce, being her biggest fan. Her fashion sense was also very very impressive for a 3 year old. There wasn’t a day they didn’t watch Elmo or Scooby-Doo together and there wasn’t a night they didn’t fall asleep peacefully after saying their prayers together. Ayriel had a happy nature to her soul that came completely natural to her. She loved the simplest of thing is life, like playing in the rain.

Ayriel will be greatly missed and the upcoming obstacles for family is going to be very difficult. One thing they should never have to worry about is how they are going to pay for the Celebration of Life Ceremony and Buriel of this sweet Angel.

Over the last 4 days, many calls, text and condolences have been sent and almost everybody has asked, “If there is anything we can do, just let us know” “If you need help, you know where we are” and What can we do to help?”. Unfortunay there is nothing we can do that will take away the pain but helping with taking the financial burden off of this sweet family will help in more ways than one.

The family had also asked for recognition for the staff here at Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, TN. The Staff, Nurses and Doctors have been excellent, especially one imparticualiar, Ms Emily Martin, MD. We want to say a special thank you to Dr. Martin, she has had the upmost respect and empathy for the family. She is very respected by everybody in this mourning family.
