Help Talicia get to South Africa

Help Talicia Canty get to South Africa for the Australian ‘U16 School Sport Australia’ team.
Please help this wonderful young girl represent Australia overseas! At just 14 years of age, Talicia has been selected to represent Australia in South Africa for the International South African Test Series 2018.
She started playing hockey when she was just 6 years old, and has excelled at it ever since. She represented Queensland at 11 years old and has played for Queensland every year since, sometimes being selected in three different Queensland teams a year!
Currently, she is the only 14-year-old hockey player to have represented Queensland in over 10 state teams. That’s a lot of tournaments!
She has the determination, the talent and the passion to make Australia proud! She has worked so hard to get to this level, and I have no doubt that she will be representing Australia all over the world in years to come.
But first, we need to get her to her first international games….
The actual tour costs approximately $6500. Add to this the cost of return flights to Sydney, along with one night’s accommodation, uniforms and other necessary and incidental expenses.
Talicia’s mother is raising two kids as a single mother, with a part time job. Of course, the cost of representing Australia rests on the shoulders of the individual players, and Talicia can’t make it without your support! Every dollar will help, so please donate a few dollars!
Thanks,
Tania Ronson
