A dear friend needs help

A coworker of mine named Michelle just went through a bad breakup which caused her to be solely responsible for caring for 4 beautiful children on her own.  She needs to get a lawyer to help her from losing contact with one of these children.  She has been raising a little boy for over 3 years and for that fact has grown very emotionally attached.  The little boys family wishes to deny her any contact with him.  Even though he is not biologically hers it doesn't matter in her heart.  She refers to him as her son and he calls her mommy.  It is not fair on the child to be denied contact with the person he see as his mother.  But being a single parent with 3 of her own and the little boy she is fighting for she can't financially handle the cost of a lawyer.  So I'm asking for help so she doesn't lose this little boy from her life.  Every little bit would be a great help.  She is a very loving and caring person and I'm asking for people to do the same for her.
